WHAT CAUSED THE DEATH OF KEITH JOHNSON?

At the age of 50, American gospel musician Keith Johnson passed away. The sad news of Keith’s passing was initially announced on social media by Larry Reid Live and Black Gospel Radio.

Black Gospel Radio paid tribute to Keith on their official Instagram account.They purportedly said, “The news of Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson’s retirement crushes our hearts.”Black Gospel Radio still plays his music.”

For the time being, there is no information on what caused his death. Keith Johnson’s friends and family are receiving a lot of love and support during this trying time.

WHO WAS KEITH “Wonderboy” JOHNSON, EXACTLY?

Keith Lamar Johnson was born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 17, 1972. At the age of five, he was given the stage name “Wonderboy” because of his incredible vocal ability. With the traditional spiritual voices, he started singing alongside his father Philip Johnson and his uncles.

With the publication of his debut album Through the Storm on World Wide Gospel Records in 1998, Johnson launched his musical career. He issued his second album, Our Gift to You [World Wide Gospel], on November 24, 1998.

On January 25, 2000, Keith’s third album, Live and Alive, got the go-ahead. His fourth album Would You, which was released on February 6, 2001, was released on October 3, 2000.

Send a Revival, Johnson’s sixth album, was released on May 28, 2002. New Season, his seventh album, was published on April 20, 2004, and Our Gift to You, his eighth album, was released in September of the same year. 2018 saw the release of his farewell album, Keep Pushin’.

Throughout his career, Keith has put out a total of 14 studio albums on various labels, including World Wide Gospel Records, Worldwide Records, Verity Records, Central South Records, and Blacksmoke Records.
