In the first part of 2022, Vivo released the X Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone, in China.
The company is apparently developing the Vivo X Fold Plus, an enhanced version. A few days ago, the item was included on the TENAA certification page. The same item has since been updated with pictures of the impending foldable phone.
The cover display of the Vivo X Fold Plus features curved edges, according to the TENAA listing. The exterior of the phone resembles the X Fold. We can also see the hinge and the inside foldable screen, which has a punch-hole cutout in the centre.
The phone’s rear panel features a rectangular island with a circular camera module inside. Four sensors can be accommodated, one of which being a periscope lens. Additionally, there is a Zeiss logo and an LED flash unit. Black is the only colour option for the Vivo X Fold+, and the faux leather rear panel has a vertical stripe.
The revised TENAA listing does not include any further information regarding the Vivo X Fold Plus aside from this.
A 6.53-inch primary FHD+ AMOLED screen and an 8.03-inch inner screen with 2K resolution are expected to be included in the smartphone.
Both displays will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to reports, the phone would include a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W cable charging and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
