The Fitbit Versa 2 smartwatch may be experiencing issues as a result of the most recent software update.

Many FitBit Versa 2 customers have stated that after receiving the update, their devices are no longer functional. A bug that hasn’t been fixed may have caused some units to become unresponsive after the update.

The Fitbit Versa 2’s touchscreen no longer functions, which is the main problem users are citing. Although it was anticipated that the most recent Versa 2 firmware update, version 35.72.1.23, would address all bugs, apparently not all bugs were found. It should be noted, though, that not all Versa 2 devices have the problem.

It may be unable to get past the lock screen on some afflicted devices, and rebooting the device does not work either. Even a factory reset did not fix the issue, according to Fitbit community members who complained about it.

Additionally, consumers who performed a factory reset on their Versa 2 devices said that they were thereafter unable to pair the gadget with a smartphone. Regarding the Versa 2’s apparent widespread problem, there has been no official Fitbit response to date.

Therefore, it is advised that Versa 2 owners hold off on installing any updates for their gadgets just now. This will protect their devices while the Versa 2’s widespread screen freezing is being fixed.
