Honor has now verified the specifics of the Honor 80 and 80 Pro’s chipset in a new poster. Comparing the information to earlier breaches reveals significant differences. A new, unannounced Snapdragon 782G CPU is hinted to be featured in the standard model.
At Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit, it is most likely to become official. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is reported to be the internal processor of the Honor 80 Pro. According to rumours, Honor will also reveal the Honor SE, which has a Dimensity 1080 processor.
It has been hinted that the Honor 80 series will have a curved display with a pill-shaped camera cutout in the middle. The water ripple pattern and pill-shaped camera module on the back panel of the smartphones will remain the same.
The 160MP primary camera on the back and 50MP twin front cameras are expected to be included in the Honor 8 0 series. Which of the three smartphones in the lineup will include the rumoured lenses is yet to be determined. The regular and SE models are anticipated to have 66W charging capabilities, while the Pro model is said to support 100W charging.
