Redmi Pad’s launch as a Wi-Fi-only model has been officially announced by TDRA

According to reports, Xiaomi is getting ready to release the first Redmi Pad together with the Xiaomi 12T series in the international market. A TDRA listing reveals the Redmi Pad will also come in a Wi-Fi-only version before an official announcement. The tablet will use a new MediaTek MT8781 CPU and a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging capabilities, according to earlier speculations.

The Wi-Fi version of the forthcoming Redmi Pad has been discovered by tipper Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on the website of the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). The Redmi Pad marketing name and model number for the tablet have been listed. The listing does not provide any other significant information. But it gives the impression that the tablet might debut quickly.

According to a recent TechGoing story, the Redmi Pad and Xiaomi 12T series will launch the following month (October). Although the publication withheld the precise debut date, we anticipate that it will occur during the first week of the month.

According to rumours, the Redmi Pad would have an 11.2-inch LCD screen with a 2K resolution. On the software front, it is anticipated that MIUI Pad 13 would run on top of the Android 12 OS. It might have an 8-megapixel camera sans an LED flash for photography.

Two storage configurations for the tablet are expected to be available: 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The cost will fall between 250 and 350 euros. Only the colour Grey is anticipated to be offered for the Redmi Pad.

The price listed above is allegedly for the cellular model; the Wi-Fi-only device might be less expensive.

In terms of specs, the tablet might be powered by the MT8781 processor from MediaTek, which is rumoured to be comparable to the Helio G99 SoC. It is anticipated to include a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W rapid charging capabilities.
