The most recent Apple flagship to be released a few weeks ago is the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The smartphone is now at the top of DisplayMate’s rankings for smartphone displays. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has lost its top spot to it as the smartphone with the finest display.
Test results for the iPhone 14 Pro Max yielded an overall A+ grade, highlighting the outstanding display of Apple’s 2022 flagship device. The maximum brightness of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is 2,300 nits, and the contrast ratio is limitless.

Although Apple claims that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a peak brightness rating of 2,000 nits, the testing revealed 2,300 nits, making it the device with the lowest screen reflectance ever measured by DisplayMate (4.5%).
The studies also showed that ambient light had the highest contrast rating. There were certain test questions that yielded nearly flawless scores. These elements consist of peak brightness, intensity scale, absolute colour accuracy, colour accuracy on white, picture contrast accuracy, and colour accuracy.

Due to the Samsung displays used in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max variants, the future Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may do even better in DisplayMate tests than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Despite this, the Apple flagship continues to win honours and praise for its cutting-edge features.
