Before launch, the Redmi K60’s details appeared to be leaked
By the end of this month or in December, Xiaomi is anticipated to introduce the Xiaomi 13 series, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone being developed by its sub-brand Redmi is rumoured to be known as the Redmi K60 Gaming.
Other devices in the K60 series, including the Redmi K 60 and the K60 Pro, are anticipated. It appears that well-known tipper Digital Chat Station has provided important details on the stock Redmi K60.
In one of his most recent Weibo postings, DCS speculates that Redmi may be developing two Dimensity 8200-powered gadgets. For those who are unaware, the flagship Dimensity 9200 chipset and the higher mid-range Dimensity 8200 chipset are slated to debut on November 8.
It looks that the Redmi K60 and Redmi Note 12T Pro series are the two Dimensity 8200 handsets that the tipper may be referring to. Recall that the Dimensity 8100 processor powers the Redmi K50, Redmi Note 11T Pro, and Redmi Note 11T Pro+.
Additionally, the tipper provided certain technical details that appear to be exclusive to the Redmi K60.
According to the leak, the Dimensity 8200-powered smartphone will include a 5,500mAh battery, a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS capabilities, and a flat display with a punch-hole design. According to one of his earlier leaks, the smartphone would enable 67W rapid charging.
The purported Redmi K60’s additional specifications are a secret. Redmi announced the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Gaming in China in February 2021. As a result, it’s possible that the K60 range will hit the domestic market in Q1 2023.
