At Rs 12,499 for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and Rs 14,499 for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of space, the Poco M5 is reasonably priced.

The Poco M5, a next-generation M-series smartphone from Poco India, was unveiled last week in India. It features a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 50MP triple camera configuration, and a 90Hz 6.58-inch display. The phone is now prepared to be purchased in India, over a week after its introduction. Starting at 1 PM today, interested shoppers can purchase the Poco M5 smartphone through a Live Commerce Event on Flipkart.

The successor to the Poco M4 is available in two price tiers. The price difference between the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space variant and the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space variant is Rs. 14,499 and Rs. 12,499. Holders of ICICI Bank and Axis Bank credit cards will be eligible for a flat discount of Rs 1,500 on the Poco M5 smartphone as part of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days event. After this discount, the lower-priced variant of the phone will sell for Rs 10,999, while the higher-priced variant will cost Rs 12,999.

Additionally, purchasers who are interested will receive a one-year Disney+ Hotstar membership, six months of free screen protection, and an additional discount of up to Rs 500 on supercoins.

The Poco M5’s 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen has a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, a maximum brightness of 400 nits, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It supports Widevine L1 certification for OTT platforms that transmit HD video. The phone’s Helio G99 CPU can support up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

A 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor make up the triple rear camera arrangement on the Poco M5. It has an 8MP selfie camera up front. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging powers the phone. The phone also boasts a 3.5mm socket, GPS, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.3, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is integrated into the home button. In India, the Poco M5 will be offered in Yellow, Icy Blue, and Powder Black colour options.
