Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro receive ColorOS 13 stable upgrade

Google unveiled Android 13 last month and later made stable builds available for its Pixel phones. Now, Oppo is the first company besides Google to begin distributing the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 stable update to its flagship Find X5 and Find X5 Pro smartphones.

The official version is now beginning to arrive in some locations. The Oppo Find X5 Pro phones in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, and Australia will start receiving notifications for an imminent software upgrade. Soon, users of the Oppo Find X in France and the United Arab Emirates will also be notified of the update.

Your Find X5 Pro must be running the A.22 software version in order to receive the update. The vanilla Find X5 must be on A.18 or A.19 in order to receive the update.

While ColorOS 13 is an improvement over ColorOS 12, it is not a significant step forward. The new operating system includes a new “Anamorphic” design language, greater Material You integration, fresh animations, enhanced AOD, and a Spotify media playback widget.
