Today, OnePlus held its largest worldwide launch event. The company unveiled up to six new items, including cellphones, a PC accessory, a smart TV, TWS earbuds, and a tablet. The OnePlus 11 5G (review) made its debut in international markets from the Chinese company.
The global variation has the same characteristics as the domestic version, which was unveiled last month. The smartphone has competition on the market from devices like the Samsung Galaxy S23, iQOO 11, iPhone 14 Pro, and others.
The OnePlus 11 5G’s 6.7-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen has curved edges, so let’s start there. It features LTPO 3.0 technology with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution. The gadget has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is used to protect the display.
The OnePlus 11 5G has a metal frame and glass sandwich construction in terms of design. A newly created camera island has a border in the form of a half-pill that extends from the side frame to the centre of the back panel. It has an LED light and a spherical camera bump with three sensors. The smartphone is splash resistant and has an alert slider with an IP54 rating.
A 50MP Sony IMX980 primary sensor with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom make up the triple rear camera system of the OnePlus 11 5G. There is a 16MP front-facing selfie camera. To enhance photography abilities, the smartphone has picture technologies from renowned camera manufacturer Hasselblad.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip included within the OnePlus 11 5G serves as the device’s power source. It has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. For heat dissipation, there is a VC liquid cooling system. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports cable charging at 100W.
Software-wise, the OnePlus 11 5G comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. The first product from the brand to receive 4 years of future OS updates and 5 years of security patches is confirmed.
The OnePlus 11 5G has WiFi-7, dual SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-frequency, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector as connectivity options.
The 8GB + 128GB base model of the OnePlus 11 5G costs Rs 56,999, while the 16GB + 256GB model costs Rs 61,999. It is available in Titan Black and Eternal Green. Pre-orders for the smartphone in India are now being accepted, and open sales will start on February 14 through Amazon, the company’s official website, offline experience stores, and top retail locations throughout the nation.
