You might be in luck if you’re one of those folks who will always have fond memories of your childhood visits to McDonald’s. Recently, it was announced that McDonald’s would sell Happy Meals and their accompanying toys exclusively to adults. Although the redesigned Happy Meal boxes are intended to appeal to adults, they also tap into the nostalgia of every millennial who longs for their younger years.

For adults, McDonald’s offers Happy Meals
Starting on October 3, you can get a Cactus Plant Flea Market box from any participating McDonald restaurant, which can include a Big Mac or a 10-piece chicken McNuggets along with fries and a drink. McDonald’s and Cactus Plant Flea Market, a streetwear company that already has its fans hooked on nostalgia for the past, collaborated on the box.

Customers should be reminded of a Happy Meal by the food’s packaging, which includes updated versions of iconic McDonald characters including Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie as well as a brand-new figure entitled Cactus Buddy.
According to Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald USA, “We’re basically repackaging one of the most sentimental McDonald’s experiences in a new form that’s hyper-relevant for our adult consumers.”
The partnership is somewhat unusual

It might seem strange that one of the most well-known fast food companies in America would team up with a streetwear company that has been made popular by artists like Pharrell and Kanye West. After instance, sweatshirts from the company can cost up to $1,000, which contrasts sharply with the amazingly low rates that McDonald’s has built its reputation on.
