India has seen the release of the Vivo Y16. It made its debut last month in China. The Y16 resembles other Y-series phones that are currently on the market. A 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz is included on the Vivo Y16. The power button has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into it, and the rear panel has a square camera module.
The Vivo Y16 sports a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens for imaging. There is a 5MP selfie camera up front.

The Helio P35 chipset powers the Vivo Y16 from within. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card slot. Additionally, 1GB of virtual RAM is supported. A 5,000mAh battery that enables 10W charging powers the smartphone. It has the FunTouch OS 12 skinned on top of the Android 12 operating system.
The Y16 has a dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack as choices for connectivity.
The only 4GB + 64GB variant of the Vivo Y16 costs Rs 12,499 in India. The smartphone will soon be sold on both online and offline platforms and is available in the colours Gold and Black.
