The Gigabyte G5 series is a new line of gaming laptops that Gigabyte has introduced in India. The laptops in the lineup are the G5 GD, G5 MD, and G5 KD. The GPUs built inside each of these laptops are what set them apart most. Let’s investigate what these devices can do now.
The 15.6-inch IPS LCD screen on the Gigabyte G5 series laptops has an FHD+ resolution. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. Up to 15 pre-programmed LED colours are available on the laptops’ backlit keyboards.
The laptop is powered by Intel Core i5-11400H (2.7GHz–4.5GHz) 11th Gen CPUs. In the GD, MD, and KD versions, NVIDIA RTX 3050, RTX 3050Ti, and RTX 3060 GPUs are installed, respectively. The laptops contain 16GB RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. Two M.2 slots and a swappable bay with a 6TB maximum storage capacity are also included. The laptops contain WINDFORCE cooling technology, which can cool things down to a maximum of 150W.
The laptop has two-way AI noise cancellation and two-watt DTS:X audio speakers for audio. The laptops provide a complimentary one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal in addition to having Windows 11 Home preinstalled on them. The GIGABYTE G5 series laptops’ 48.96WHr battery pack supports 150W charging on both the GD and MD models. For the KD model, a 180W charging speed is supported. HDMI, an SD card reader, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, three USB Type-A ports, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the laptops’ networking interfaces.
