Asus has unveiled a new small form factor (SFF) PC that is aimed at businesses in the retail, industrial, and financial sectors. This SFF’s ExpertCenter D7 (D700SD) chassis was made using the MIL-STD-810H-compliant Steel Electrodeposition Cold Common (SECC) technique.

According to Asus, the ExpertCenter D7 is built utilising specially designed Asus B660 motherboards that exclusively use solid-state capacitors. The PC can be easily maintained and upgraded without the use of tools.

Customers who purchase the Asus ExpertCenter D7 have a variety of Intel Alder Lake processor options to select from, ranging from the Celeron G900 to the Core i7-12700. Dual-channel DDR4-3200 RAM with a maximum capacity of 128 GB is offered.

The SFF PC can be equipped with a range of dedicated GPU options in addition to the integrated UHD Graphics 770 found in Alder Lake CPUs. The Asus ExpertCenter D7 is compatible with the Nvidia GeForce GT 730, GeForce GT 1030, or Nvidia T600 graphics cards. On just the T600, mini DisplayPorts can connect up to four screens.

A total of 11 USB ports, a smart card reader, an optional SD card reader, an optional parallel port, and an optional serial port are included to serve various industrial applications. The PC also includes an optical drive. An 80 PLUS Platinum or 80 PLUS Bronze PSU is available to satisfy EPEAT Silver rating standards.
