Honor has announced that the Honor X40 5G, a new X-series smartphone, will go on sale in China on September 15. The Chinese company recently unveiled the device’s appearance and design in a teaser video. In the most recent development, a well-known tipster released the Honor X40 5G’s exact specifications. The tipster claims that the Honor smartphone would have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. A hole will be carved out in the centre for the selfie camera. The display will also feature 10 Bit colour, high-frequency PWM eye protection dimming, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone will reportedly have a Snapdragon 695 processor inside, along with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. It will run Magic UI 6.1, which is based on Android 12, as its operating system.
