The Honor Pad 8 will go on sale in India on September 23. We are aware that the next tablet boasts mid-range specifications, such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 engine and a 2K display, since it debuted in international markets in July of this year. Since its price was made public before the launch, the Honor Pad 8 appears to be a strong rival to devices like the Realme Pad X and Oppo Pad Air in India.
The Honor Pad 8 has been added to Flipkart’s online store, along with information about the various storage options and their associated costs. The Honor 8’s specifications are also available on Flipkart and are identical to those found on the tablet’s European version. Since the Pad 8 does not allow SIM cards, Wi-Fi is the only available internet connection method.
The Honor Pad 8 can only be used in locations with wireless broadband connections due to its lack of cellular connectivity. Realme, however, provides cellular connectivity on its tablets.
In advance of its release in India, Flipkart has listed the Honor Pad 8 on its online store, disclosing the storage options and their costs.
Price of the Honor 8 in India
There will be two variations of the Honor Pad 8. According to Flipkart, the 4GB RAM model would cost Rs 29,999, while the 6GB RAM model will cost Rs 31,999. The launch costs, however, may be Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively, according to a leak. The Honor Pad 8’s precise costs will be revealed on September 23, the day of the device’s introduction.
Specifications for the Honor Pad 8
A mid-range tablet called the Honor 8 was introduced in July. It has a 12-inch 2K display with an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio and TUV Rheinland certification for blue light protection. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage powers the Honor 8. Both the front and rear cameras are 5-megapixel ones.
The Honor 8 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB On-The-Go and runs a version of MagicUI 6.1 based on Android 12 (Jelly Bean). The Pad 8’s 7250mAh battery powers the device and enables 22.5W rapid charging.
The tablet comes with eight DTS:X Ultra powered Honor Histen speakers. It is 6.9mm thick and weighs 520 grammes. The Pad 8 contains an ambient light sensor and an accelerometer.
