Apple just released the iPhone 14 series, but online speculations and leaks about the next iPhone 15 lineup have already begun to circulate. The most recent source suggests that the naming scheme for the lineup will change.
According to the most recent claim from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Cupertino-based tech giant has begun developing a new Apple iPhone 15 Ultra model to replace the Max model.
The source also states that the design of the iPhone 15 series will undergo the most significant changes since the launch of the iPhone 12 in 2020. The corporation may begin providing USB-C ports on iPhones, among other significant improvements. There are rumours that Dynamic Island will be included with every model of the iPhone 15 series.
Given that the Apple Watch series now offers an Ultra model, the nomenclature change from Pro Max to Ultra is not unexpected and makes sense. Since several years ago, the business has been experimenting with several iPhone models. The business discontinued the Mini model two years after its release in favour of the Plus variant with the release of the new iPhone 14 Plus.

The corporation turned to the Plus model after experiencing poor sales of the Mini model, figuring that consumers aren’t interested in a small package. But according to rumours, sales of the new iPhone 14 Plus are similarly underwhelming. As a result, the business has increased manufacturing of the Pro models while reducing production of the iPhone 14.
